Grundmeyer Leader Services (GLS) is committed to its mission to “Transform Education One Leader at a Time.” Since its first search in 2013, GLS has grown into a trusted partner for schools looking to hire visionary and effective leadership.

Initially launched as Grundmeyer Leader Search, the organization focused exclusively on hiring school leaders—principals, superintendents, business managers, and activities directors. In 2017, the organization expanded its offerings and transitioned into Grundmeyer Leader Services to better serve the evolving needs of school districts. This expansion included board and administrative retreats, leadership workshops, school marketing support, and social media checks—services that help schools not only find the right leaders but also support and strengthen existing teams and culture.
Today, GLS has consultant teams rooted in the Midwest, South, and West, and our national referral network allows us to conduct high-quality searches anywhere in the country. Districts get the benefit of local expertise where we’re based, plus national reach when searches extend beyond those regions. Each search is conducted with care and professionalism, led by two highly respected and well-networked consultants to ensure a thorough and personalized process. This dual-consultant model has become a hallmark of GLS, contributing to its strong reputation for transparency, fairness, and results.
