Grundmeyer Leader Services and the Iowa Association of School Business Officials has partnered to offer formal services to K-12 schools.  Services include helping with special projects, mentoring new SBO's, short-term jobs, long-term consulting or succession planning.  If you are a qualified SBO willing to serve a school in one of these capacities, please share you experience and information  so that you can be reached when your skills and experience are the right match for the district in need.  Complete the information form HERE. 
Applicants for an initial Iowa school business official authorization shall have completed the following requirements: Education. Applicants must have a minimum of an associate’s degree in business or accounting or 60 semester hours of coursework in business or accounting of which 9 semester hours must be in accounting.  If the applicant has not completed 9 semester hours in accounting but has 6 or more semester hours in accounting, the applicant may be issued a temporary school business official authorization valid for one year.
