Superintendent Full Search

You get the best of all worlds with everything from recruiting to hiring facilitated by the lead search consultant.  GLS uses all advertising outlets to recruit a diverse candidate pool. The team facilitates each meeting, interviews and helps negotiate the final contract.  Drafting interview questions, presentations and hiring updates also part of the full package.  In the end you'll also get a custom intro video to share with all your stakeholders introducing them to your new supt.

Guarantee

GUARANTEE OF SERVICE:  If the candidate’s contract is terminated by the board within two years due to a poor fit, GLS will conduct a new full search at no additional cost. GLS will only charge for actual mileage and travel-related expenses incurred during the new search process.
Principal Full Search ​

The Principal Full and Superintendent Full search options both offer comprehensive, end-to-end services—including marketing, reference checks, guided support, candidate screening, and interview coordination. 

Cost 

The cost of a Full Principal search is 7% of the outgoing principal's salary, plus mileage reimbursement for 2-3 GLS Lead Consultant visits to the district as part of the search process. Guided Search   (recruit+Guide)​

Description

Use the power of GLS advertising outlets and connections to recruit a diverse candidate pool.  GLS accepts applications and conducts two or more reference checks.  Application materials and references for all the candidates are turned over to you to lead the interviews and hiring from there. Tutorials and videos are provided online to guide you each step of the hiring process and the same documents and forms are provided to you throughout the search to save you time and guide a successful hiring process.  You also get a search consultant to answer your questions remotely throughout your search process.

Here you will find every step of the GLS hiring process laid out and every document available to customize as you need it in order to help you conduct the best leader search.  All this is available to you by individual step or as an entire process.


Cost

There are five steps to complete in order to ensure that your hire is the best fit for your district. Under this process, you may use only one step, or the entire process. However, we only guarantee best results if every step is carefully considered and implemented fully.

The steps are all structured in the same order with resources you can count on.  

​Each step has:
1. A video to explain certain aspects of the process and provides important insights to make the most of the step.
2. A narrative to walk you through each step of the process and provide detailed instructions on how to best use the tools/documents.
3. Many model documents to aid you in your journey for a new district leader that best fits with your desires and goals as a district and community.  Most documents are customizable to your district.

The documents are all branded with the GLS logo. We ask that you keep our logo and disclaimer on any documents you use, but feel free to add your own logo to the documents as well.  You can also customize most documents to make them your own.

Description & Process 

Leverage the reach and influence of GLS’s advertising network to attract a diverse and qualified candidate pool. We gather your basic job posting details to create a customized, professional job flyer, which is then promoted across our website and all GLS marketing channels—amplifying your own outreach efforts. Throughout the process, we collect applications and provide you with weekly candidate updates. Once the application window closes, we deliver applicant materials and reference checks. Sample interview questions are turned over to you to lead the interviews and hiring from there.
